The Executive Committee of EDSNA unanimously approved during the 26th of June meeting, the minutes of the tender, according to which 5 Greek consortia qualify to the next stage of the competition for the MSW unit in Fyli (West Attica)

With this announcement, the first phase of the four competitions for the selection for an equal number of new units for waste management in Attica is completed.

The four new units will give Attica the opportunity to aquire a modern infrastructure for the management of its waste, comparable to other European countries, and to escape from the outdated model of the landfill, in which was trapped for decades.

The second stage of the competition will follow, with the calls for the competitive dialogue and the submissions of the binding offers.
