Completion of the pre-selection phase for the PPP Project of the waste treatment unit in Corfu

Five out of initially six local consortia that had expressed interest, where pre-selected by the Municipality of Corfu. Those five consortia will continue in the process of the competitive dialogue.

The first phase of the competition for the selection of the private contractor that will materialize the waste treatment unit of Corfu via PPP was completed.

The public contractor will be selected via public international competition with the process of competitive dialogue and will undertake the design, financing, construction, maintenance and operation for the waste treatment unit in Corfu for a time period of 27 years. The facility will be managing 87 thousand tones of waste annually.
