3 Greek consortia submitted binding offers for the waste management PPP project in Ilia
The Municipality of Ilia, contracting authority of the implementation of the Waste Treatment Unit, announced on Wednesday January 29th, 2014 that 3 consortia submitted binding offers.
The private partner will undertake the design, financing, construction, maintenance and operation of the facilities for the waste treatment unit, with a capacity of 80.000 tons annually, in the region of Ilia for 27 years.
The waste management project of Ilia is the third PPP project in Greece procured with the competitive dialogue procedure and the third waste management PPP that combines private resources and EU funds, following the Peloponnese and Serres waste management PPPs.
