The Epirus Waste Management PPP reaches its final phase

The final tender documents were issued for the implementation of the Epirus waste management PPP and the six candidates are invited to submit their binding offers on April 2nd, 2014.

The relevant infrastructure will have the capacity to manage about 150 thousand tons of waste annually, which includes all municipal solid waste generated throughout the Region of Epirus, for a duration of 27 years. 

The lowest fee to be paid by the users will constitute the main selection criterion, while meeting all environmental goals. The project will be co-financed by the European Union’s structural funds
